🚶♂️ Decision to Go on a Pilgrimage
One day, they decided to visit a famous temple of Lord Shiva 🛕 to seek blessings. They packed their bags 🎒 and started their journey.On their way, they saw a gambling den 🎰. Unable to resist temptation, they decided to stop and play.
🎭 A Wise Old Man’s Warning
While they were gambling, a wise old man 👴 came and warned them about the dangers of gambling. ❌⚠️ But the three pandits ignored his advice and continued playing.
🔻 Soon they lost all their money and property! 🔻
😞 Feeling Ashamed
With empty pockets 💸 and heavy hearts 💔, they decided to continue their journey to the temple. However, they had no money for food or shelter.
🤲 Asking Villagers for Help
The pandits asked the villagers for help, but no one was willing to support them. 🚫 The villagers knew about their gambling habits and believed that they brought misfortune upon themselves.
Feeling helpless and desperate, the three pandits came up with an idea! 💡
🔥 Performing a Yagna
They decided to perform a Yagna 🔥 (a sacred ritual) to please Lord Shiva 🙏 and ask for his blessings.
The news of the Yagna spread across the village 🏡 and soon, a large crowd gathered to watch. 👀Lord Shiva, impressed by their devotion, appeared before them ✨ and asked:
💬 "What do you wish for?"
The pandits explained their situation and begged for his blessings to regain their lost wealth.
🕉️ Lord Shiva’s Blessing
Lord Shiva smiled 😊 and granted their wish. They received wealth and wisdom 💰📖 but were also warned:
⚠️ "Stay away from gambling! Do not fall into the same trap again."

The three pandits were overjoyed and grateful. They continued performing Yagnas and soon became wealthy and respected in the village. 🏆

One day a hungry fox 🦊 came to the village, looking for food. She was very clever and sneaky. 😈 The other animals were scared of her and hid in their homes. 🏡 But Murugan was different. He was not afraid. 🚀 He knew that he was just as clever as the fox! 😏
🧠 Murugan Makes a Plan
Murugan decided to outsmart the fox. 🎯 He gathered all the hens 🐔 and told them,
"Stay close to your homes and keep an eye on the fox!" 👀Then, Murugan went to the fox and said with a smile,"Mr. Fox! I have heard that you are the smartest animal in the jungle. Is that true?" 🤔
The fox feeling proud, puffed out her chest and said,"Yes! That’s true! I am the cleverest animal in the jungle!" 😌Murugan pretended to be impressed and said,
"I have a challenge for you! I bet you cannot catch me!" 🏃♂️💨
The fox was surprised but excited. 🎯 She loved challenges!"Alright! I accept your challenge. What are the rules?" 🧐
Murugan explained the rules:
✅ "Before I reach the other end of the village, you must catch me."
✅ "If you catch me, you can eat me." 😱
✅ "But if you fail, you must leave this village forever and never come back!" 😏
The fox thought for a moment, then agreed. 🦊 "Let’s race!"
🏁 The Race Begins!
As soon as the race started, Murugan ran as fast as he could! 🏃♂️💨 The fox chased him with full speed. 🦊💨 But Murugan was not just fast, he was also smart! 🧠✨

"Why are you stealing from the village? I know a place where there is much better food!" 🤫
The monkeys became curious. "Where? Tell us!" they asked.Murugan led them deep into the jungle 🌳, where there were plenty of fruits and nuts 🍎🌰 hanging from the trees.
The monkeys were very happy! 🥳 They stopped stealing from the village and stayed in the jungle instead. 🌲🎉
The villagers and animals cheered for Murugan! 🎊🐓"You have saved the village again! You are truly the smartest and kindest animal!" ❤️
